Christie always made the rounds at the fan events. Here she signs autographs at the annual baseball game in South Carolina.

Christie posed with Peter Reckell during the 1999 Days fan club luncheon. In 1999, Christie finally went back to her natural sandy brown hair color. It hadn't been that color since she was a pre-teen.

Christie filmed her last scene on Days in early October. Her final scene aired on November 19, 1999 when Carrie and Mike rode off into the sunset. Castmembers Frances Reid, Roark Critchlow, Drake Hogestyn and Kirsten Storms were a few who joined her for the goodbye party.

It seems the cast had a good time, even though it was sad to see Christie go.

Now that Christie is away from Days, she's spending more time promoting her clothing company, monkeywench. She even models the clothes in their catalog and on the website.
