Jessica took over the role of Samantha in 1985, following the short term appearance by Lauren Ann Bundy in the role. Jessica and her twin brother Jesse played Samantha and Eric, respectively. It was the first time real-life twins had assumed the roles. They played the roles for more than a year.

Sami was awake when Roman and Marlena came back to their house after discovering that John was Roman. So, Marlena decided to let Sami see her father for the first time in nearly 2 years.

Marlena asked Roman if he wanted to hold his daughter. John took Sami and immediately felt a bond with her, although he didn't remember anything about her. He told her to say hi to her daddy.

Jessica didn't seem too comfortable in Drake's arms. It probably didn't help that Drake was holding her very awkwardly.

Once Jessica had her bottle again, she was doing fine. Roman was going to carry her upstairs and put her back in bed.
