In 1998, Kirsten was making the rounds on many teen and family shows. It wouldn't be long before she'd leave this small celebrity circle and enter into the soap world. {pics courtesy Dazzling Stars}

Kirsten appeared in more than one film for the Disney Channel. Here she is in Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.

One of Kirsten's costars was Raven-Symone (seen on left), who played Nebula. She appeared on the Cosby Show as Olivia in the late 80s.

Hairstyles have certainly changed in the 21st century. Zenon's hair seemed like two antennas sticking out of her head.

Just before joining Days, another one of Kirsten's Disney movies began airing on the Disney Channel: Johnny Tsunami.

The movie is about a young boy from Hawaii who moves to the east coast. He is a number one surfer so when he moves to the east coast he learns to snow board and ends up at war with Brett and Emily {Kirsten}, pictured to the left.

In the end Johnny {Brandon Baker} wins the race and wins the girl, Emily.

In late 1999, Disney released a CD called, "PremEARS Vol. 1: Music From The Disney Channel Original Movies." It included music from both Johnny Tsunami and Zenon and featured Kirsten as one of the stars on the cover.

At the tender age of five, Kirsten Storms already knew what she wanted to do with her life, she longed to perform in front of the camera. Kirsten would tag along with her father, Mike, to the CBS affiliate in Orlando where he was the sportscaster. She would saunter onto the news set, pretending to be the weathercaster. The station recorded her forecasts so the rising star could critique her "work." She was hooked! Kirsten Storms has decided to put her weather aspirations on hold, at least for now, because the young lady just landed the coveted role of precocious Belle Black on NBC's number one daytime drama, Days of our Lives. {Photography by John Paschal}

Class of '99. In SOU Kirsten was called last year's newcomer of the year. She had a rough start, but working hard, she has made the character of Belle her own. Photography by John Paschal

Kirsten's first television series was a recurring role in ABC's "Second Noah," portraying the best friend of Hannah Beckett. Shortly after the series ended its run, the Storms family decided to head west and give LA a try. Kirsten soon landed the role of Laura Cummings, Simon Camden's girlfriend, on the WB hit, "7th Heaven." Sadly, Laura broke Simon's heart when Kirsten was chosen to star as spicy, free-spirited Zenon, in the Disney Channel's original movie "Zenon, Girl of the 21st Century."

This is one of Kirsten's personal promotional photos. This is a photo that her agent would send out to fans or to producers looking to hire Kirsten. I am sure DAYS got a photo like this of Kirsten before hiring her as Belle Black. They are always done in black and white. Color photos are printed also but are usually not sent out unless they are requested.

These photos were taken on Kirsten's first day on the set, the day John and Marlena returned from their honeymoon. Upon seeing her grown up daughter, Marlena asked, "Is it me or has she grown?"

John and Belle had their first real father and daughter talk when he came back from his honeymoon. Belle was telling him how much it scared her to hear about the accident on the honeymoon with the drowning lady. John said it was nothing to worry about.

Belle went on to tell her dad about the party that she was going to with Mimi. John was sure to ask all the right questions. Belle said "You can't keep me your little girl forever dad." John "I know, I just worry about you."

Belle with a real worried look then asked, "Does that mean you are going to tag along when I start to date?" John said "Well, Yeah."

With both of them laughing, John told Belle "That's ok though, I'm not going to allow you to date till you are 30 years old." Then they shared a big hug.

Belle got a little bit of good advice from her older sister Sami. Sami and Belle were talking about dating. Sami told Belle "Do not rush it. Date a few guys before you get serious about one of them."
