Belle was about to ask Brandon to homecoming when Belle's "Aunt" Lexie walked over. Brandon blew off Belle to talk with Lexie.

Belle sounded a lot like her older sister Sami when she made this comment to her self. "You're going to go out with me, Brandon." Belle is chasing Brandon the same way that Sami chased Austin.

Belle's first event with the other young people of Salem was a pool party at the Kiriakis mansion. There she hung out with Nicole {Arianne Zuker} and Brandon {Matt Cedeno}.

Belle and Mimi drove to Brandon and Austin's fight with Grandpa Shawn and Grandma Caroline. Grandma Caroline was wondering why the girls wanted to come to the fight. She didn't think girls their age were interested in fights. Mimi made the comment that Belle was there to see someone. Belle hit her in the arm. Belle said, "We just wanna see the fight."

Belle sat with Grandma Caroline, her sister Sami and "Uncle" Bo. This was in the early days of the teens in Salem. Belle was still calling Bo "Uncle" and Hope "Aunt." As time passed, Belle stopped calling them Aunt and Uncle and changed it to Mr. Brady and Ms. Williams. Bo and Hope are her step aunt and uncle, since at the time of her birth her mother was married to Roman. The writers have made this change to prepare us for Shawn and Belle being a couple. They hope that at that point we won't think "Oh gross she's dating her cousin." Although that will be our first thought. Belle's family has always been so close to the Bradys.

When a star is hired, they do at least one promotional photo shoot so the network and magazines have photos to put out. Kirsten did hers in this pretty blue checkered sun dress.

In SOU's February issue they rated all the soaps with teens and who was doing the best job. Days got a A- for their teens, while the lowest grade was a C given to Passions and the highest was a A+ given to As the World Turns. SOU commented on the actors and their job taking over the roles. "Kirsten Storms {Belle} displays a flair for balancing subtext; she is sweet and mischievous all at once, but never drowns watchers in emotional juxtapositions."

Early plans for Belle indicated that she'd be the new Sami. Belle was set to be a bad girl with a penchant for gossip and older boys. Says Storms, "Belle is going to be very precocious, and she has a mouth on her. Very sassy. Her mom will tell her not to gossip and she's going to go ahead and do it anyway."

Kirsten Storms, Ali Sweeney and Christie Clark as Belle, Sami and Carrie are not the best of sisters. Belle likes Sami but she doubts sister Carrie because of all the things that sister Sami has told her. Sami and Carrie can't stand one another because Sami stole Carrie's boyfriend/husband. This is one messed up set of sisters, but they sure are a pretty set of sisters.

Kirsten couldn't wait to start making the rounds at soap events after starting her new soap job. It has always been her dream to be on a soap.

Kirsten and Jason graced their second soap opera cover. "Although just teens, Shawn {Jason} and Belle {Kirsten} have enough chemistry to become one of DAYS best supercouples!" Even though they have the chemistry don't look for TPTB to put these two together. According to Tom Langan {Headwriter} "We have years of story to tell. To pair them as the next Bo and Hope prematurely would be a big mistake. So we will see lots of maturing for Belle and Shawn over the course of time." Photography by Kem Merfeld

Kirsten and Jason shared different views about the plane crash. For Kirsten the plane crash was a nightmare come true. "I got really emotional. The passenger part of the plane is actually on a big forklift and we're lifted several feet off the floor to get the turbulence effect. We're screaming and saying the Lord's Prayer. When it came time to cry, I was so-o-o-o scared! It's my worst fear-the tears were real." Photography by Kem Merfeld

Although she often acts pretty mature, Belle was a scared little girl on the plane. She clung to her mother.

Kirsten was very proud of the dress she wore to the 2000 SOD awards. She's maturing rapidly!

At the awards, she had a chance to meet up with some of the Passions cast members, including Donn Swaby, Jesse Metcalfe, Chea Courtney and Lena Cardwell.

Nadia (Chole) and Farah (Mimi) were also in attendance.

Kirsten and her mom, Karen, are very close. Karen has always been Kirsten's manager.
