Belle ended up in a coma in November 2001, as a result of an incident with Brady. They were hanging out on the railroad tracks and Belle fell. Marlena blamed Brady for it, since she's witnessed too many close calls between the two of them. Marlena stayed at Belle's bedside, while Kirsten Storms was actually off filming Zenon 2 for the Disney Channel. {Photo courtesy Bev} |

During the island "Tropical Temptation" storyline in 2001, Belle and Phillip became pals. She comforted him over his breakup with Chloe. Many say that if Shawn and Belle's relationship doesn't work out, her next step should be to get together with Phillip. |
