Bo and Hope went on their honeymoon a year after their wedding. It started out with him whisking her away against her will, but of course they made up once they were away on a small island together. Bo made Hope search in the sand for clams. He claimed that he was going to make something to eat with them. Then Hope found the special clam. It had a necklace that Bo had put inside it for her. |
Hope loved the necklace. Bo had a hard time getting the latch open, Hope was so excited when he put it on her. |

It was said that Kristian didn't get along with Peter Reckell in the 80s. They fought all the time off camera according to sources. But when the cameras were on, they were as professional as they could be. Peter and Kristian have put those days behind them. They both admit that they were just young and immature in those days. |

Today, Peter and Kristian are great friends on screen and off. Their chemistry puts them right at the top of all soap couples. |

Before Bo and Hope's wedding, Gran gave Hope earrings that her mother had given to her. She said "I didn't give them to you when you married Larry because I knew that marriage wasn't going to last. But I know you and Bo are forever. Just like your Grandpa Tom and I are." |

Mr. and Mrs. Bo Brady. This was the wedding that put DAYS in the history books for the biggest soap wedding. To this day, no other soap has outdone the England springtime wedding of Bo and Hope. Hope's gown was $25,000 alone. Kristian wore it for her own wedding in 1987. |
Hope and Bo both made up their own vows. Hope told Bo about how young she was when they first met and how she hated when he called her "Little One." She said she has grown into a woman since knowning him. Together they have grown. |

Steve loved teasing Hope and Hope loved teasing him. They had a great friendship, even if Bo and Steve didn't. |

Days started with the first generation of Horton children and their trials and tribulations. By the late 80s, we were seeing their children, all grown up, with lives of their own. They were still dedicated to their family. Here, Melissa, Hope and Jennifer perform "My Gram" to the tune of "My Guy" for their Grandma's birthday. It was just one sign of how close the Hortons still are. |

Kristian appeared on Redbook in the late 80s. It was one of her many magazine covers. |
Doug gave Hope a package and he asked her to open it slowly. He also asked if she could tell he had wrapped it by himself. Hope just laughed. |
Doug explained, as Hope opened the present, that Addie had this idea in her head that when a lady became pregnant she could sew. But Addie "didn't know a eye of needle from the eye of a potato." But she worked hard and made this little blanket for Hope before she was born. |
Doug said "You carried it all over and hugged it like you are doing now. I thought you might want it for your baby." Hope just loved the suggestion her father had made. It was so sweet and thoughtful. |

Someone forgot to tell Kristian she was missing an earring. But that was ok because the scene was still great. |

Shawn Douglas was the first grandchild to ever get a Horton Christmas ornament before he was born. Gran was so excited for Bo and Hope that she couldn't wait to include their little baby in the family tradition. Shawn-Douglas was sailing around the world for his first real Christmas the following year. |
