After Jack left Jennifer and Abby, Jennifer found a new love in Peter Blake. Missy and Jason became friends offscreen as well. After a long cover shoot, the pair went a little crazy. |
Jennifer was very happy when she found her mother again. She got her mother off the drugs that had kept her catatonic. She was finally out of the sanitarium, and back into the real world. |

Melissa has worked with three young actresses and one young actor. They all played her on screen daughter Abby. First were twins Megan and Michael Nelson. The second set of actresses were twin girls Paige and Ryanne Kettner. {Click on the young actors' names to learn more about them.} |

Melissa married one of her DAYS co-stars, Scott Reeves in 1990. They met on DAYS when he played the short-term role of Jake Hogansen, but had never really acted together until 1999. They are the parents of just two children, Emily Taylor (born in 1993) and Lawrence David (born in 1997). |

Melissa welcomed a new actor as her brother, Mike, in late 1994. Here she poses with Roark Critchlow at the 1994 Days Fan Club Luncheon. |

Missy left Days abruptly in late 1995 with little explanation. After playing Jennifer for 10 years and growing up in the role, fans missed her tremendously. You can read about her life since Days on Beth's Why did Melissa Reeves leave Days and the role of Jennifer? Page |

During her time away from Days, Missy continued making appearances with Scott. Here she is at an event at the Museum of Television and Radio. |

Missy's only acting job since she left Days was one she and Scott did together. They played real parents of sextuplets, Becky and Keith Dilley in Half a Dozen Babies. |
Becky was in the middle of the C section, having delivered five babies. The doctor reported, "We've got a problem." Becky panicked. |
The news was good, but shocking. There were six babies, one more than the five they were prepared for. |

Missy was recently seen at her husband Scott's fan appreciation dinner. When she spotted the Soap Net camera, she hammed it up, waving like crazy. {Scott is also pictured, along with another unknown family member.} |

Missy is now beginning to appear in new pictures as she prepares for her return to Days. This photo came from daysofourlives.com. Her first official return photo shoot was done by John Paschal. His pictures are copyrighted, but you can see them at esoapstars.com |

We caught our first glimpse of Melissa as Jennifer Rose Horton on October 7, 2000. She was working at a pub in Ireland and spoke with Shawn Brady on the phone, speaking in an Irish accent. |

In October of 2000, when the character of Jennifer returned she bought her daughter Abby back to town too. Paige and Ryanne Kettner {pictured to the left} who played Abby back in 1998 returned to play the role again. But in 2001 DAYS decided to recast Abby with a younger actress, Megan Carletto {pictured to the right}. Missy enjoys acting with the children. |

Jack and Jennifer, portrayed by Melissa and Matthew, have always been known for their comic relief. It still holds true now. Since Matt returned in 2001, the characters Jack and Jennifer have made us laugh out loud. Jack knew that Greta liked him, and Jack only wanted Jennifer, so he thought he could lie to Greta telling her he was gay. He figured she would still be friends with him and help him but she wouldn't fall in love with him. Jennifer busted Jack in his lie and we all got a good laugh out of it. Jack was trying to get away from the bad guys by acting like he was a Vegas showgirl, dancing on stage. It wasn't a pretty sight. {photo courtesy JPI} |

In 2001, Jenn and Jack were still in love with one another, but neither one wanted to admit that love just yet. So they each pretended to be moving on with other people. Jenn and Colin dated off and on, but Jenn never let it get serious. Jack and Greta were just friends, but Jack wanted Jennifer to think there was more to it. {photos courtesy NBC} |

Jack and Jennifer finally are back together in 2003. It all came together after Colin Murphy was murdered. Jack thought Jennifer killed him, so he tried to take the rap for the murder. Jennifer was able to convince Jack that she didn't murder Colin and Jack admitted his love for her. Jack and Jennifer are going to remarry. We will all have to wait and see what happens. {photos courtesy NBC} |
