Ronit Arnoff originated the role of Samantha on October 16, 1984 when Sami was born. Her name is sometimes listed as Ronit Aranoff.

Sami was an only child for a couple of minutes. Here she is with her parents just before twin brother Eric was born.

Marlena held Sami just after her birth. Marlena was being a typical doctor, asking lots of questions about the twins' condition, since they were premature.
