Shana was the fourth actress to play
Sarah and the first teen to fill the role. She was in the role for
less than a year, returning to her recurring role as Bonnie, Sam's
friend on Who's the Boss?, a role she'd held since 1985. She
played Bonnie until the show ended in 1992. Her only other work in
showbiz is the 1985 TV movie Love, Mary, starring Kristy McNichol and
David Faustino.

Bonnie often appeared at
Samantha's house with news from school or about boys. Angela
and Tony weren't sure that she was the best influence on
Sam, but they still liked having her around.
