Tammy was the first adult to play Hope,
replacing young Natasha Ryan in the role. However, Tammy only stayed
in the role for a few months.

When Hope befriended Jake
Kositchek {Jack Coleman}, she had no idea she was hanging
out with a serial killer. Jake turned out to be the Salem
Strangler.
A very rare photo: Kristian
Alfonso, Tammy Taylor Wexler and Jenna Wexler. Kristian
played Hope after Tammy left the role and Tammy's daughter
Jenna played Hope in a flashback in 1996. It's rare that
Days calls a former actor back to the show. In this case it
was the former actress' daughter that was called to the
show. They needed a dark haired little girl to play Hope in
a flashback around Christmas time. Jenna, Tammy Taylor's
daughter fit the bill perfectly.
Jenna had already been acting
before she appeared on Days. In 1994, she appeared in two TV
movies, Danielle Steel's Family Album (as Young Valerie) and
On Hope (as Rosie). She had guest starring roles on "Mad
About You" (29 September 1998) and "The Naked Truth" (23
January 1997) as well.
In the dream that Jenna played
Hope, she was wishing on the angel on top of the tree. After
she wished she turned to Grandma Alice and asked "Did I do
it right Grandma?" Alice answered "Yes, Hope darling." Alice
was dreaming of Hope as a little girl wishing on the Angel,
since Gina had just wished on the angel and wasn't sure why.
To Alice this proved that she was Hope.
