Thyme Lewis

Thyme was the second actor to play Jonah. He played the role from 1993 to 1996, when Jonah and his love interest, Wendy, disappeared from the canvas with no explanation. For information on what Thyme's done since leaving Days, visit Beth's Where are they Now? page.

Jonah Carver

Thyme is an alumni of Captain Cooper School in Big Sur, California. He returns to the school on a fairly regular basis for alumni events. Here he is with other kindergarten classmates in 1974. He is fifth from the left in the back row. {Photo courtesy http://www.captaincooper.org/alumni/alum93.html}

Jonah and Abe have always had a rocky relationship, but since they were brothers, they were always close.

One of Thyme's biggest storylines was the triangle with Jonah's brother, Abe and his wife, Lexie. Jonah and Lexie secretly lusted for one another, but Abe never found out.

The Carvers posed for the Days calendar in 1995.

Jonah has one godson who is very special to him. Jonah delivered Benjamin in a taxi cab. Wendy was very grateful to Jonah, so she named her son, Benjamin after Jonah's father, who wanted Jonah to go to medical school. Benjamin was also named after Abe Carver, Jonah's brother who paid for Jonah to go to medical school. After about two years of knowing Wendy and Ben, Jonah became romantically involved with Wendy.

Ben was played by many young actors. Anthony Smith {shown above} was the second one to play Ben. Shaquille Toney {shown here} was third, and one of the longest running Bens. Click on the name of the young actors to learn more about them.

Ben was played by twins Ashaneese and Nasharin Holderness for about two years. Click on the young actors name to learn more about them.

Jonah, Wendy and Benjamin celebrated Christmas as a family for the first time in 1996. The following year this young family disappeared from DAYS. There are at least three young Bens that we can not ID. One of them is pictured here. Click on Bens to see the others. If you can ID them please email us.
