Before joining Days, Wesley appeared on Sid and Marty Krofft's Land of the Lost as Will Marshall for all three seasons of the show, which ran from September 1974 through December 1976. Wesley is also an accomplished singer. For a hint of his talent, listen to the theme song for Land of the Lost during the last two seasons of the show, he's the voice behind the song. Mike was injured in a farm accident in 1976 and his parentage was finally revealed.

Mike was at the wedding of his parents. Laura married Bill years after the rape which had produced Mike. They had always been in love and when Mickey disappeared, Laura was free to wed Bill. (L to r) Mike, Julie Horton-Williams, Bill and Laura Horton, Alice and Tom Horton.

Wesley's incarnation of Mike Horton finally brought him a love interest. Mike fell in love with Margo Anderman.

Mike and Margo wed, but their love story didn't last long. She died of Leukemia before they were even married a year.

Wesley was one of many younger players who appeared on the game show Password Plus in the late 70s and early 80s. Here he is in an appearance during the summer of 1980 with Susan Richardson.

From 1987-88, Wesley hosted the children's game show Finder's Keepers on Nickelodeon. In subsequent years, the show became syndicated, and changed directions and hosts. Wesley is still perceived to be the better of the two hosts, since he related well to the children and seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

In the 1990s, Wesley became an author. He's written adult humor books as well as children's books. One of his most well-known books is called The Red Wings of Christmas. When a toy is broken and never to be played with, its little red heart flies out and breaks in two. The two halves of the broken toy circle the toy to make sure it is truly the toys time to leave because even a broken toy can be loved and still played with. Satisfied, they alight on the back of the broken toy and unfurl, becoming large red wings. The red wings fly the toy to Santa's toy sack where every toy is repaired and made ready for another family.

Wesley and Susan Seaforth Hayes. Wesley often joins the DAYS cast members for the annual cruise. He is one of many former stars that come and join the fun.
