Michael took over the role of Sam when Megan and Alison Tuma left the role. His last episode in February 2001 was an important one. The phone rang and Sam went to get it. It was Alex, who had been missing. He was excited to hear her voice. |

Brett and Kevin were the first babies in the role of Amanda. Like many other AMC infants, they were cast to play a baby of the opposite gender. So, by about age two, they were recast. {pic on left courtesy Amy} |

Following his work on AMC, Michael went back to Broadway and appeared in many different shows, including "Four Baboons Adoring the Sun" in 1992. His father, Dr. Julius Shulman started Broadway Kids in 1994 when Michael was cast as Gavroche in Les Miserables. Julius couldn't find an album of songs sung by kids on Broadway, so he produced a series of albums featuring Michael and several of his colleagues singing Broadway songs. This allowed children everywhere to learn about the magic of Broadway. The kids have performed all over the world and have made a total of 6 albums. Other members include AMC stars Lacey Chabert and Eden Riegel. Michael is also known for portrayal of the title character of HBO's "SOMEBODY HAD TO BE BENNY," where he was nominated in the category of Best Actor for 1996's Cable Ace Awards. He continues to act today, most recently doing voiceover work in the Disney film Recess: School's Out as Francis the Hustler Kid. {some info from broadwaykids.com} |

In January 2005, right as the baby switch storyline came to another high point, Liam and Aidan O'Donnell became sick. In fact, they were replaced mid-episode. Jarred Sturman, who was no stranger to AMC, stepped in as baby James, and hasn't left. Jarred played baby Bess during the christening and wedding scenes several months ago, so AMC knew they could call on him last minute. He was the same age and had the same coloring as Ace. Jarred jumped right in and filmed 18 scenes straight, sleeping through the first several, where Babe and Jamie were caught, and JR and Kevin both tried to get "their son" back. Jarred was born on February 7, 2004. He has an older brother named Matthew. {photo courtesy http://www.expectingmodels.com/}

During Christmas 2005, someone lured LIttle Adam out of his house, then left him near the nativity scene at the church. The family searched quite some time before being reunited with their little boy. {pic on left, 12/19/06; right 12/21/06, courtesy mommyof6} |

Jarred typically has a very serious look on his face in scenes, until someone starts interacting with him. Then he loves to play with cars, dinosaurs, blocks, etc. {pic on right 12.19.06} |
