Raymond and Joseph are always so happy on screen.

Lily and Miranda's first meeting was very special. Lily has a fear of touching people. However, while Bianca was in the coma, she came to touch Bianca, hoping it would help her wake up. {12.28.04, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

Lily decided she wasn't so afraid to touch anymore because of Bianca. So, she reached out and touched Miranda on the head. {12.28.04, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

Miranda and Bianca have big plans for the new year. Let's hope 2005 is a better year for them than 2004. {12.31.04, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

Miranda met Simone for the first time in early 2005. She brought Miranda a gift. While Miranda was focused on the gift, Bianca and Simone became distracted by someone else. {1.5.05, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

It was Verla Grubbs {Carol Burnett}, Langley Wallingford's daughter. Bianca had never met her, but she was quite a sight. Once she caught Miranda's eye, she couldn't stop staring either. {1.5.05, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

Raymond/Joseph didn't know what to think of Carol. He cried for just a few seconds. She was very loud and moved quite a lot. This scene was a special one for the show's 35th anniversary. Carol is a huge fan of the show and wanted to resurrect her character to celebrate the show's milestone. She is based on the west coast. To accommodate her, the show flew the Cartigianos and Eden Riegel to L.A. to shoot this short scene on the General Hospital set (using just a hospital hall). As a bonus, Terri Ivens, still on her maternity leave in L.A., agreed to appear as Simone. {1.5.05, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}

Tad came to see Bianca and Miranda in the hospital. He made some goofy faces at Miranda and she made them right back at him. {1.6.05, pics courtesy Plasma , via the New Beginnings Board}

For several days, all of the Cartigiano's scenes were either sitting in bed with Eden, or hanging out in a crib across the room. Most babies would have not liked the restricted movement. They didn't care at all. They just used the time to charm everyone with one cute look after another. They did get in a bit of crawling on the bed, and often stood up while Eden held them. {1.6.05, pics courtesy Plasma, via the New Beginnings Board}
