Connor Rademaker
Kirkland Harrison
November 20, 1995 - February 1996

Connor, who was just 3 1/2 at the time, held the role of Kirkland for only a few months. The character was aged so he could play a larger role in the custody battle between Vicky {Jensen Buchanan} and Grant. Connor was replaced by older brother Sean, who had the same blonde hair. {Photo courtesy Another World Home Page}

Sean Rademaker
Kirkland Harrison
1996-1999

Sean took over the role of Kirkland from his younger brother, Connor, when they decided to age the character a couple of years. He's originally from Washington state and had two roles before joining AW at age 6. He appeared in the Jennifer Aniston/Paul Rudd film, The Object of My Affection and national commercials for Oscar Meyer bologna. {Photo by Jim Antonucci, info courtesy SOD 7/14/98}

One of Sean's most significant storylines was when Kirkland was hit by a strung out Paulina in her car in the spring of 1997. Kirkland actually had an aneurysm that was discovered due to the accident, so his life was saved because of the incident. He also had a bad reaction to antibiotics following the operation, but with uncle Nick's help, he survived. Kirkland was always perfectly happy with his mom, but he was always at the center of problems between his parents. Grant wanted custody and was granted it on and off over the years, but it was always due to some sort of shady dealing. When he has to cry on camera, Sean says, "I try to think about bad things. Like when I got hurt. Like when I fell on the step. My knee! It hurt." {Photo by Barry Morgenstein and info courtesy SOD 7/14/98}

 Luisa Rivera
(12/93 - 11/27/96; 12/8 and12/9/97)

Luisa Rivera (born in 1992) is Tomas's daughter from a childhood romance with Angela Corelli. Tomas had told everyone, including Luisa, that he was her brother. He and his mother agreed that this would be best considering that the courts might not consider Tomas a proper legal guardian as he was a minor. It was revealed in June 1994 that Tomas is indeed her father. Luisa is the only one who does not know, and Tomas is waiting for the proper time to be able to tell her. {Photo on right courtesy Another World Home Page, photos on left and far right, courtesy Amy}

Tommy Kent
1992-1994

Iris Wheeler had a romance with Hank Kent after befriending his son, Tommy. The boy was the son of Hank and Sheri Kent, who had abandoned her son years earlier.  When she returned, she wanted her son to live with her. It was eventually discovered that Hank and Sheri had never divorced, which came as a surprise to Iris. After a custody battle, Hank won custody of his son and later proposed to Iris. Although they planned a wedding, Iris eventually told Tommy that she and his father loved each other, but were never meant to be married. Tommy suffered from leukemia when he first appeared in Bay City, but was in remission by early 1993. {Photo on right courtesy Another World Home Page}
