It was during Blaise's time in the role of Gregory that John and Sharlene broke up. In 2001, Blaise appeared in the film All Over the Guy as Young Tom. He also had a rare opportunity in 1997. One of the many gimmicks of Super Bowl week that year was to equip 7-year-old Blaise with a microphone for TNT during a Green Bay Packers' interview session. According to a report at http://www.jsonline.com/ "Gripping the mike with both hands, Garza looked a little overwhelmed as a TV assistant ushered him to the table where Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre was answering questions. The youngster warmed to the task quickly, however, when he was hoisted to the platform where Favre was sitting. In a matter of seconds, Favre and Garza were buddies, quickly establishing that they were both from Mississippi.``Why do you say, `Hi Dad?' Did you always want to be a football player? Do you take lots of tests?'' Garza asked Favre before informing the quarterback that his neighbor in Meridien, Miss., also is named Brett.
