Taylor almost lost her life giving birth to her twin daughters. Taylor helped a homeless man that had TB. Taylor became ill and refused medication in order to save her unborn twins. Stephanie and Phoebe were born healthy and Taylor was treated for TB and survived. |

It's rare that multiple births occur on soaps, since it is so hard to cast for them. You either need triplets or twins for each character or one set of twins, whom you only show as needed. It seems B&B had two sets of twins in the roles for their first few years of life. But, it's unclear how they were used onscreen. |

Jacob and Jeffery were very cute looking little girls, especially at the Forrester family Christmas, all dressed up in their little red dresses. The girls have important names. Phoebe means "shining light," and was a name Ridge found in a baby book. They chose that for their littlest and youngest twin. Stephanie was named after Ridge's mother, who had fought for Taylor and Ridge to be together for so long. They honored her by naming their oldest and largest girl Stephanie, knowing she'd be protected with her special name. Charles and William Carter shared the role with Jacob and Jeffrey, since 2 babies were always needed onscreen. Ridge and Taylor looked at the photo on the right in an April 2000 episode, even though Jacob and Jeffrey were no longer in the role. {some info from Ridge and Taylor: An Everlasting Love, pic on right courtesy Vera} |

Grace and Kelly deMontesquiou {pictured here} and Alexis and Allyson Collins were the second sets of twins to play the roles of Stephanie and Phoebe Forrester. The two sets of twins played the roles interchangably because two babies were always needed onscreen. They were only in the roles a short while. When they took over, they aged Stephanie and Phoebe to about 8 months old. {Photos courtesy Vera} |

Grace and Kelly played Theresa Hoes' baby in the X Files episode, Requiem on 05/21/00. In the episode, Mulder and Scully go back to the road where Mulder had painted the "X" 7 years ago--they know they're in the right place. M&S stop in to question the deputy's wife who turns out to be the girl they met seven years ago. Scully holds the baby while the wife runs to get some files on her husband. We see Mulder looking at Scully with a tender expression on his face. {pic on right courtesy http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thexfilestwinsgroup/, other pics from unknown sources} |

Brooke and Alison appeared on the cover of Parents magazine in December 2002 when they were four years old. The magazine revealed a bit more about them. They were adopted at 19 days of age by parents Cindy and Scott. At that time, they were simply called "twins A and B." Their parents named them Alison and Brooke to honor those original identities. |

Finally when Sophia {L} and Whitney {R} took over the roles of Stephanie and Phoebe respectively, we learned who was who. Sophia played Steffy and Whitney played Phoebe. In March 2001, it was established that the characters were two years old. |

Steffy and Phoebe were rarely seen when Sophia and Whitney held the roles. When they did appear, it was almost always as a unit. We saw them playing with their Barbies or playing dressup. {pic on left courtesy mrsmartypants.com, pic on right courtesy Ridge and Taylor page} |

Sophia was a part of a very important storyline. Her character, Steffy was eaten by a shark. Well not really, she was actually kidnapped and then later found. Everyone was in a uproar about a young child being eaten by a shark, so when Steffy was found it was great news. Crazy Morgan who was in love with Ridge, Steffy's father, kidnapped her and named her Stacey and put a red wig on her. Sophia and Whitney have been replaced with other actresses. {photo on right by Jesse Grant/JPI} |

Keaton and Kylie were born on March 14, 1992. They have 2 sisters, Jennifer & Jessica and one brother, Jason. They also have a Pomeranian named Simba. The girls are identical mirror twins. That means that everything Kylie had on her left side is on Keaton's right side. (ex. Kylie is left handed and Keaton is right handed) Keaton is older than Kylie by 1 minute. The girls started acting when we were 9 months old and are currently in the 6th grade. They both sing really well and LOVE to read. Their favorite books are from the Thoroughbred Series. Their dream is to one day open an animal rescue for abused and homeless animals {photo and info courtesy {http://www.kylieandkeaton.actorsite.com/index.html} |

Keaton and Kylie appeared on Joan of Arcadia in the 2003-2004 season as "God" in the form of twins. Keaton just shot a HUGE MSN print campaign for 2005. She will appear in magazines, billboards, promotional material, packaging, and in store display. In the summer of 2004, Kylie & Keaton participated in the celebrity reading program at the LA City Zoo. As of September 2004, Kylie still has her Bank of America & Charter Communications spots running. Keaton was cast as Martha in The Secret Garden in the fall of 2004. {photos and info courtesy Mills Management} |

In September 2004, Kylie and Keaton performed in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in North Hollywood, CA. Kylie was Dorothy and Keaton was the Cowardly Lion. They were joined in the cast by Darcy Rose Byrnes (Y&R--seen here), Jasmine Anthony (Catch me if You Can), Jillian Henry (Lilo & Stitch: The Series), and Lauren Klina (American Idol Juniors). Addison and Alex's resumé is small, but reputable. They both shared the role of Heather in ER's 200th episode When Night Meets Day. The girls also play on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Addison plays Tracy Obo & Alex plays Stacy Obo. Alex & Addison have about half a dozen commercials under them.
