Dylan and Jordan Sprague
Ridge Forrester Jr.
June 22, 2004-present

Brooke gave birth to a son in June 2004. Dylan and Jordan shared the role of Ridge Jr. during the birth scenes with Alyssa, Rachel and Madison Miller. Ridge helped Brooke deliver her baby and immediately felt connected to the child. Nick wanted to tell Brooke that the baby was Ridge's before the baby arrived, but he and Mark arrive at Brooke's after the baby is born. Nick tells Brooke and Ridge that the paternity results were wrong, and Ridge is the father. Brooke and Ridge are stunned with the news that the baby is Ridge's. Nick tells them that his mother ran a second test. Ridge doubts Jackie's word and asks Dr. McLain to run another test. The doctor asks a friend at the lab to rush the results. Ridge warns Brooke not to get her hopes up. Brooke is excited that the baby might be theirs. Ridge tells Brooke that no matter what the paternity test reveals, he will love the baby as his own. Brooke is sure that they might have a chance to have it all again. {pictures from 6.24.04 episode, info courtesy soapcentral.com}

Stephanie comes in and tells Brooke that she knows Ridge delivered the baby. She asks Brooke how long she will subject Ridge to all this. Stephanie hopes that Ridge will realize that Brooke's place is with the father of the child. Brooke asks Stephanie if her feelings for Brooke would change if the baby had been Ridge's. Stephanie tells her that integrity and virtue always win in the end and if Brooke and Ridge were meant to be together, then the baby would have been Ridge's. Just then, Ridge and Nick enter with Dr. Maclaine. As Ridge smiles at Brooke, Brooke tells him that she wants Stephanie to hear this. Stephanie is shocked when Dr. Maclaine announces that Brooke has a healthy Forrester baby. Stephanie accepts Brooke's child as her grandchild and accepts Ridge and Brooke as a family along with Taylor's children. She was very worried that Taylor and Ridge's children were going to lose out on a mother figure with Brooke in the role of stepmom but she has accepted it. {pictures from 6.24.04 episode, info courtesy soapcentral.com}

The twins and Thomas were playing a card game at the table when Ridge and Brooke came in with the baby. They explained that Ridge helped deliver the baby and that the baby was Ridge's son and their brother. All three kids were very happy. {June 28, 2004 episode}

Grandpa Eric holding the baby for the first time, explaining to the baby who he is and what role he will play in the baby's life. Thomas makes the comment that Ridge Forrester Jr. is a really long name for a baby and offers RJ as a nickname. Everyone likes it and he is nicknamed RJ Forrester. {June 28, 2004 episode}

Stephanie and Brooke were fighting once again and RJ was right in the middle of it. Ridge came home and saw them fighting and made his mom leave the home. Brooke was very happy about that.

RJ was present for his parents' wedding in July 2004. His nanny held him throughout the wedding ceremony. Nick came to see Brooke after the wedding and stopped to see RJ as well.

Alyssa, Madison and Rachel Miller
Ridge Forrester Jr.
June 22-25, 2004

Alyssa {left}, Madison {right} and Rachel {middle} Miller have been quite busy in their first few months of life. In April they were cast in the Will Ferrell & Robert Duvall film Kicking & Screaming. They appear in a national SBC commercial that began airing in May. They appeared in the series finale of a TV show called The Guardian, FOX-TVs pilot called Quintuplets (they appear in the nursery scene as three of the five babies), Strong Medicine on LifeTime TV (to air June 27) and the season finale of Seventh Heaven (background baby in nursery). They also filmed The Ring (part two) which is a horror movie. In August 2004, they were cast in a role in on the TV show Las Vegas and did an ad for Nestle. {pic and info courtesy the Miller family}

The girls snagged their first magazine cover as a result of their B&B role. Alyssa was on the cover of Soap Opera Digest on June 29, 2004. These photos are from the birth scenes. For those scenes, Alyssa was covered in cherry yogurt to simulate that "just born" look. {pics by JPI from June 29, 2004 SOD}

Alyssa {left}, Rachel and Madison {right} appeared in four episodes of B&B, which they filmed over the course of two weeks. They shared the role of Ridge Jr. during his birth with the Sprague twins, then played him for a few additional episodes. The girls used the dressing room of Bob Barker during their time on the show, since The Price as Right was dark at the time. {pic on right by JPI from June 29, 2004 SOD, photo on left photo by Aaron Montgomery/JPI, courtesy My Soaps Online }

Shortly after Ridge Jr.'s birth, while another DNA test is run, Brooke is left to bond with her son. Alone with the baby, Brooke admires and talks to him. Rachel as Ridge Jr.

On June 27, 2004, the Millers appeared on Lifetime's Strong Medicine. Madison was seen onscreen in two scenes.

In the story, a free formula given to babies was missing a vitamin babies need daily. A baby's health was at risk if given this formula without the vitamin. The Mom is a recovering drug addict. She leaves the hospital with some of the free formula and then Dr. Del Gato has to go and find her and the baby to give the baby a shot and tell the Mom to stop using the formula. Five other babies were really sick from the formula too.
