At the start of the show, Christopher was shown crying in his crib while cousin Lucy sat in the rocking chair watching him cry. When Pam came in with a bottle, she picked him up. Lucy was thinking about the fact that she might be pregnant and the father would have been the evil Roger. {Aired 10/1/82, the start of season 5.} |

At the end of the show Christopher is shown sitting in his crib very content. JR was downstairs on his way up to see "his son." Bobby was on his way up right after him to let him know that he was not the father of Christopher. {Aired 10/1/82} |

Christopher was taken by surprise when his daddy and Uncle JR ended up fighting in his room. Bobby punched JR for using Christopher as a bargaining tool when he thought he was his father. He let JR know that Christopher was not his son, that he was the son of Kristen and Jeff Faraday, a man that Kristen married after leaving Dallas. Bobby picked up Christopher and held him tight. As soon as he looked up at Bobby, he stopped crying. {Aired 10/1/82} |

Christopher was probably the most seen child in primetime history. Especially since his scenes were usually family scenes, like this, not fighting scenes like poor "John Ross" went through. Even when his parents were apart, they were still together for Christopher's sake. |

Like many primetime soap kids, Eric didn't get much airtime. He was seen eating a lot, or walking with the nanny on his way to take a nap or go to bed for the night. The most that we ever saw of Christopher after Pam and Bobby divorced, was in the back seat of his dad's red convertible. Bobby would take him with him all the time. But it was still rare. |

Eric appeared in a European magazine. It featured all the Dallas kids, including Omri and Shalane. They showed the children at home with their families. Bobby spent the night at Pam's house. Christopher came running into the bedroom in the morning to tell his mommy good morning. He was surprised to see his Daddy too and he yelled out "I'm so happy to see you." Eric had the cutest little voice. He had many lines during his time on Dallas. Patrick and Victoria helped him learn them and know when to say them. |

Bobby carried Christopher down to the breakfast table and told him he had to go, but he would be back later. He gave him hugs and kisses. Little did anyone know this would be the last time Bobby would see his son. As Bobby was leaving Pam's he was hit by a car. Bobby was saving Pam's life from her crazy sister who was head over heels in love with Bobby. |

This also marked Eric's last scene as Christopher James Ewing. The following season Joshua Harris took over the role of Christopher. |
