Joshua Harris
Christopher James Ewing
1985-1991

This was Joshua's first role. It was before joining Dallas. He was a guest star on Falcon Crest, the other main primetime soap. He played Young Damon in an early 1985 flash back. Then he joined Dallas as Christopher Ewing later that same year.

Joshua and Victoria Principal {on screen mom}. Joshua got along great with all the actors on the set. He liked hanging out with Omri Katz {John Ross} and Shalane McCall {Charlie Wade}. This was Joshua's first scene. Pam was trying to explain to Christopher that his father was dead and he wasn't coming back but he still loved him. Bobby did return to Dallas the following season. Joshua's first season on Dallas is what everyone refers to as the "dream season." It never really happened--it was all a dream that Pam was having. Photo courtesy of Dallas Dutch Fan Site

After Bobby's death, JR, Bobby's brother came over to see Pam and Christopher. Christopher was happy to see his Uncle JR. JR was swinging him around when Pam came out and told Christopher it was nap time. Christopher whined a little about it and Uncle JR told him to listen to his Mom. Pam asked him what he wanted, since she knew JR wasn't there to just play Uncle. JR wanted to buy Christopher 30% of Ewing Oil, the business that Bobby and he ran together. It was their Daddy's company. Pam wasn't selling.

Christopher and Pam had lots of mother and son talks. Pam was just coming home from work and she was carrying papers. Christopher ran outside to tell her hi and asked her what was in her hands. She said, "Oh, just some papers." They weren't just some papers. They were the documents that gave Christopher 30% of Ewing Oil. Pam wasn't sure what she was going to do with the company. She had mixed feelings. She knew that Bobby wanted his son to one day run the company, but she also knew that the company was bad news if JR was still running it.

During Joshua's time on Dallas his main role was playing Bobby's son. He found out that he was adopted as a baby and was wanted very much by both of his parents. He was told that his birthmother was dead, but they didn't know his birthfather. He dealt with his adopted mothers death, then her rejection when she was found alive, but didn't want to return home. He dealt with all of his fathers girlfriends. During the 11th season of Dallas he was kidnapped by a lady Lisa Alden. She was his aunt and only living relative on his father's side. She lost custody to Bobby, because Christopher told the judge that he didn't want to leave his father. During the 12th season he dealt with the death of his stepmom, April Stevens.

Joshua starred in many made for TV movies. He played a young child with cancer, who knew he was dying and tried to make it easier for his family to say good bye. The movie was called Go to the Light, 1988 he played Ben Madison, pictured to the right. Photos courtesy of Star Galaxy

Joshua went on in acting after Dallas and had a starring role in Star Trek the Next Generation. He played Timothy, 1992 is his last known role. He did lots of guest appearances on lots of TV shows, The Commish as Jason 1992, Twin Peaks as Nicky 1991, St. Elsewhere as Donnie Westphall 1986, The Twilight Zone as Russell Jr. 1985.
