Robert Hy Gorman
Michael Richard Channing
1988-1990

Robert played Michael Richard Channing for two seasons of Falcon Crest. He is the son of Richard Channing, a main character in the show. He was eight years old but looked very young and played a character about three years younger.

This was a rare normal father/son scene. Richard was helping Michael with his homework. That was a rare thing, since Richard was a father who was often too busy for his son.

Robert made really cute sad faces. He had the perfect face for the sad look. Good thing because the only time that Michael Channing was ever shown on Falcon Crest was when his father Richard was telling him bad news. Poor kid, like many prime time soap kids he was not used very often.

When his mother was killed, Richard adopted Kevin, therefore naming him Kevin Gioberti-Channing. {Note: The photos are from when Jesse played Charlie on Coach.} Photos courtsey of LonoMyth's Kid Actor Spotlight
