Morgan and Whitney began playing Meg, the daughter of Greg {William Devane} and Laura {Constance McCashin}, as a baby. |
After the death of Laura, Greg decided to let Mac and Karen raise Meg because she reminded him too much of his dead wife. Greg initially told Mac and Karen he was going away for the week, so they took care of him. However, he was still in Knots Landing. Of course that was later discovered and they kept her permanentally. Morgan and Whitney were recast in 1989 when the show wanted more experienced actresses in the role. |
