Ethan Martin Crane was born to Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald while she was on the run for the murder of Julian Crane, Ethan's father. Just days after his birth, Theresa was headed back to prison and was just days away from execution. {photos courtesy Once Upon A Time}

It took Passions nearly three years to have a character that got pregnant, carried to term, and gave birth to a live child. Ethan is the first child to be born in Harmony since Passions began in 1999. We know he won't be the last.

Lindsay Korman, who plays Theresa, has enjoyed bonding with Sarah and Thomas and has quickly learned their preferences. "It's been incredible to learn each of their things. Thomas likes to be hit on his back...hard! I'm like, 'Are you sure? This feels terrible.' But he loves it. As soon as I hit him, he's like, 'Hit me some more.' And Sarah likes her head rubbed really soft, of course, because she's a female. It's also interesting to see how they communicate. One time, Sarah didn't get to finish her breakfast, so she was uncomfortable and was crying. Then, they switched them out for the scene, and Thomas was so content. It was a whole different energy.
