Ethan is now the adopted son of Gwen and Ethan Winthrop Sr. Ethan was taken away from his mother based on an investigation, and given to Julian. After Theresa tried to kidnap Ethan at Julian and Rebecca's wedding, Judge Reilly saw the traumatic effect that Theresa's actions often had on her child, and ruled that she was not even to have visitation. The judge ruled to separate Theresa and her son for one year, hoping that Theresa would get her life back together. When the judge saw her lose it and attack Gwen and Rebecca in the hall outside the courtroom, he took all of her parental rights. A few days later, with Julian's approval, the courts approved Ethan and Gwen's adoption of Ethan, and he was officially known from then on as Ethan Winthrop Jr. {photo on right courtesy of Ethan Winthrop Jr. Fanlisting} |
