Brick Wallace met Amy Perkins {Kerry Sherman} shortly after arriving in SB. He soon promised her to raise the child she is waiting for as his. At the beginning of 1985, Amy finally gives birth to a boy, whom she names after her deceased father. But her doctor, Dr. Renfro, informs her a terrible news: the baby is dead. Persuaded that obviously someone tried to hide her the truth, Amy decides to investigate with the help of Brick and lawyer Julia Wainwright. Thus she ends up discovering the origin of her pregnancy: she has been inseminated without her knowledge during a rendez-vous with her dentist. With Amy and Julia, Brick manages to find the child on the New Stailand island where he is retained by his real father who, over there, tries to make him crown king of the island. Eventually, Brick and Amy are able to get the baby back {as seen in this episode, 7/29/85} and Brick adopts him. {photos courtesy Vera from 7/29/85 episode, info from SB}

Baby Johnny is shown here with mother, Amy and Marisa (Valorie Armstrong), his grandmother.

Sophia reveals a secret, that her child with Lionel Lockridge {pictured here} was switched at birth with the child of the Wallace family. So, Brick Wallace is actually Channing Creighton Capwell II. Lionel is Johnny's grandfather. Brick decides to sell his bar, Johnny's, to his father. Eventually, Brick leaves town with Jane and Johnny. {photos courtesy Vera, 10/26/87--final appearance}

Channing Creighton Capwell III (Chip)
2 December 1987 - 20 January 1988
At this time, there is still discussion about who this baby/babies are. Back in 1988, it clearly seemed that after the January 1988 appearance of this Chip, a new set of babies were cast. The toddler Chip seemed older and just looked different. But, now looking back at pictures, this Chip certainly has similarities to Evan and Bryce Woolley. It's been questioned if they are all indeed the same babies. For now, we'll keep the Chips separate until we have a more definitive answer.

This baby/babies played Chip when he was part of some key storylines. Mason believed he had fathered both Chip (with wife Tori) and Samantha (with legal partner Julia) within a couple of months. Although Tori and Mason became somewhat estranged, Mason continued believing both of the children were his and he spent time with both of them on a regular basis.

Tori went off to drug rehab and left Chip with Julia (Nancy Grahn), but didn't tell Mason. Julia was taking care of both children when Chip got sick. {pic on left, 12/30/87}

Mason got wind of the situation and assumed the sick baby Julia referred to was Samantha. To try and keep Mason in the dark, Julia let Gina (Robin Mattson) and Scott Clark take care of Chip temporarily. {12/30/87}

Michael Donnelly Clark

Michael was born to Heather Donnelly and Scott Clark in September of 1989 (?). He was named after his uncle, Heather's brother, Michael. The couple had many ups and downs, before and after Michael's birth. {pics courtesy Vera}

When he was just a few months old, Heather left Santa Barbara with the baby and moved to Chicago. Michael was never seen onscreen again. {pics courtesy Vera}
