Chip (Brandon Farmer), Adriana (Jaclyn and Katherine Kostakes), Eden (Marcy Walker) and Cruz (A Martinez) sent a holiday postcard in 1989. It was one of their first family photos.

Chip (Brandon Farmer) and Adriana (Paulina and Sophie Rothe) had lots of presents to open on Christmas 1990, but the best present they received was that Eden had come home after being in a coma. {12/26/90 episode}

In early 1992, Cruz received divorce papers from Eden. She had been away for more than 9 months. He explained to the kids what divorce meant. Chip (Brandon Farmer) had lots of questions, while Adriana (Chase Sanders) was too young to understand. She sat and listened while looking around the room. {2/6/92 episode}

Samantha asked Gracie (Suzanne Ventulett) why she didn't want her baby. Gracie said she wanted to make sure her baby would have everything he needed to grow up and be happy. Samantha then asked if he could be a part of their family. Gracie said it was up to her mom and dad. Mason and Julia agreed. They realized they would soon have three children. {1/15/93 episode}
