James "Jimmy" Harrison
1997

Vincent Paul Oliver originated the role of "Jimmy Harrison." The role was recast when TPTB thought that the role of Jimmy should be younger. V.P. was 11 when he appeared on Sunset. He won a Johnson and Johnson baby contest as a toddler and soon had a long list of credits. He was on NYPD Blue and Dark Angel, in addition to appearing in more than a dozen commercials. He enjoys playing basketball.

Jimmy is the son of the scheming Virginia.

Jeffery Wood
James "Jimmy" Harrison
1998-1999

Jeffery Wood took over the role Jimmy. He was born on December 12, 1986 in Manhattan. He lived there until he was 8 and then his family moved to Los Angeles when he got the role on "In The House" as Austin. He has been modeling since he was 5 and acting since he was 8. He has done a dozen different print ads. He has also done a few commercials. According to Jeffery, his character Jimmy is just an average kid who plays lots of sports. His mom is crazy, but she doesn't know it. He is pictured here with co-star Jason George "Michael".

Trey is the biological son of Olivia and Gregory Richards. He was stolen at birth by Annie and given to Olivia's daughter Caitlin who had miscarried her own child a few months before. Caitlin had no idea that the baby that Annie was giving her was her own brother. Caitlin and Cole raised Trey as their own until the truth came back to haunt Caitlin. Cole left them and Trey was returned for a short while to Olivia. Then when she went insane Caitlin got custody of him.

Gabe and Charlie sure are little cuties! They appeared in the feature film Blast from the Past and on primetime shows Chicago Hope and Third Rock from the Sun before age 6 months. There were 5 sets of twins born in a short period of time at the hospital where the Gings were born. An agent saw the newspaper article about the births and contacted the Gings and they immediately started working. Their mom stayed at home with them, but was then available to take them on auditions. {info from SOM 7/7/98}

Gabe and Charlie played Trey during the earthquake scenes. First baby Trey was trapped in the nursery and then in a car with his mom Olivia. He was saved by Gregory. They made special make-up for the boys in order to protect their skin and make them looked injured. They used crushed blueberries to give them a bluish tint and soft cocoa to look like dirt on their cheeks.

Trey hung out in his Exersaucer for along time, near his dog, Spike. {Pics courtesy Vera}

Gillian and Brock Bozzani {left} and Gabe and Charlie Ging {right} appeared simultaneously as Trey. This is rare for soaps, but very common in movies. Trey had such a heavy storyline that they were onscreen all the time. Since children can only be onstage for 20 minutes up until the age of 6 months and at the studio for four hours a day from age 6 months to 2 years, sometimes backup babies are needed. It seems Brock Bozzani and Gabriel Ging were the main actors in the role. Their siblings, Gillian Bozzani and Charlie Ging were then used as backup babies. Backup babies are usually paid as if they were on the set, even if they weren't.

When Olivia uncovered the details of the baby switch, she kept quiet so Caitlin {Kam Heskin} could be a mother as she'd always wanted. {Pics courtesy Vera}

Caitlin freaked out when she discovered Trey was the love child of her mother and Cole, making him her brother and stepson. Brock and Gillian appeared on 90210 with Donna, Valerie, Brandon and David in October and November 1998 as Leah and Lenny's baby in three episodes.

January 12, 1999

Caitlin left town with Trey, but handed him over to Olivia in the show's finale.

Chase Parker
Benjamin "Benjy" Evans Jr.
1999

Chase originated the role of Benjy Evans. Chase was a big part of the show, getting to particapate in alot of "grown-up" things. He attended the annual softball game with Sunset Beach -vs- Days of our Lives. He even got to play in the game, which is rare for a child actor. He attended many of the fan luncheons too. He was only 5 years old during his time on Sunset Beach. In 1998 he played young Nikolas Cassadine on GH.

Chase was on the set when the final cast photo was taken in 1999.
