Y&R was the first daytime soap to show actor's names at the beginning of each show, much like a primetime series' opening credits. Camryn was the only young actor to appear in Y&R's opening credits. {pics courtesy Vera}

Esther Valentine married Norman Peterson in 1994. Esther talked Kay and Rex into allowing her to act as the lady of the house and the two of them be her servants. It was all a ruse, but Norman had a ruse of his own. He wasn't wealthy, as he had claimed. Although the pair chose to marry, Kay hired an actor to perform the ceremony, doubting Norman's character. Rarely seen daughter Kate joined her mother at the wedding.

Skip and Carole were thrilled to finally be parents, but they were afraid that Nan, Skylar's birth mother, might bond with the baby and then choose not to give her up. They asked Nan to move out. Soon Nan ran into her former boyfriend, Jeff, and she revealed that she had dropped out of high school due to her pregnancy. After a blood test proved that Jeff was the child's father, Nan and Jeff decided they wanted their baby back. Soon the teens discovered that being full-time parents was too difficult for them. They returned Skylar to Skip and Carole, knowing their daughter would be in a great home.
