Marcus Bently
Charles Pierre "Chuckie" Roulland
1980-82

Marc Bently played Chuckie Roulland when the character returned to Genoa City after a several year absence. Chuckie was the child of Sally McGuire and Snapper Foster, but Pierre Roulland claimed the child as his. After Pierre's death in the mid 1970s, Sally left town with her son. In 1981, Sally wrote to Liz Foster that her son, Chuckie, was ill and she would be bringing him back to Genoa City in order to see a specialist. Sally still had feelings for Snapper, but he was married to Chris. Snapper wanted to raise their son with his wife. Sally refused and Snapper never did tell the boy that he was his father. Chuckie received a kidney transplant and said goodbye to Snapper, before leaving for Michigan again with his mother and her fiance Stan. The role of Chuckie was in the middle of Marc's career. His other roles included the films, Mad Dogs and Englishmen (1995), Hambone and Hillie (1984), Separate Ways (1981), Terror Among Us (1981 TV movie), and The Seduction of Miss Leona (1980 TV movie). His TV guest appearances include, "Married... with Children" (1989), "Highway to Heaven" (1989),"Who's the Boss?" (1987), "Twilight Zone, The" (1985), "Diff'rent Strokes" (1984), "Lou Grant" (1981), and "Rockford Files, The" (1979). {photo on left courtesy katef.free.fr}

Dick was in the role of Phillip for only one year. The character was aged and he was let go, but he didn't go far. Dick moved over to another Columbia soap opera, "Days of our Lives" where he played Scotty Banning for 2 years.

In 1987, Dick played a young boy named Wayne Jackson in the made for TV movie called After The Promise. Wayne was the second oldest of four boys that were taken away from their father. This was Dick's largest movie role. Wayne was mentally and physically abused. It was a challenging role for a 13 year old boy. Dick is no longer acting and now goes by Rich Billingsley. Ashley Nicole Millan
Victoria Newman
1983-1991

Soap Opera Digest - May 24, 1983...

The very young and restless Nikki Bancroft has been mired in a paternity mish-mash ever since she first conceived her beautiful daughter, Victoria. But whoever she is fighting - her husband Kevin, or the man she really loves, Victor - Nikki still proves to be a loving mom. That's no surprise, because Melody Thomas adores children. Melody recently took a moment to cuddle with two of her favourites: her real-life daughter, Alexandra Yeaggy, a dark-haired bubbly 20-month-old, and perky eight-month-old Ashley Nicole Millan, who plays Victoria. With such a talented and beautiful mother, possibilities are endless for Alexandra. As for Ashley, who knows what special "star" tips her Y&R mom may be giving her? {photo and info courtesy http://www.geocities.com/vn2gether/}

Ashley played the role of Victoria for 8 years. Here's Ashley in 1983 during her first Christmas (in July) on the set of Y&R. She is pictured here with her on-screen Grandmother Cora. {Pictures courtesy of Or's Victor and Nikki Site}

She stared talking on screen at a very young age. By the time she was 3 years old she had many lines of her own. She enjoyed working with her on screen parents, Melody Thomas Scott and Eric Braeden. {Pictures courtesy of Or's Victor and Nikki Site}
