Unknown Actor
William "Billy" Foster-Abbott
?

This young actor played the role of Billy as a toddler. We do not know if this child is Shane Silver (Dec. 1993-August 1995, alternated with Josh), Josh Michael Rose (July 1995-June 1996, alternated with Shane ), or Blake Pontello (1994-95). Billy is shown here with the Abbott housekeeper, Mamie. {photo courtesy Benito}

Blake Austin Pontello
William "Billy" Foster-Abbott
1994-95

Blake {born June 19, 1992 in Los Angeles County, CA} was only shown for important events on show. Otherwise the character Billy was with his nanny. His mom (Jill Foster, shown here) and dad were too busy for a young child. By the following year Billy was aged to about 3-4 years old. {Photo by Eddie Garcia}

Around the time Blake was in the role, at least one, if not two, young children shared the role with him. {photo on right courtesy Benito}

Scotty Leavenworth
William "Billy" Foster-Abbott
1996-1998

Scott was probably the best known young Billy. He was shown just a little more than the rest and he was the last child actor in the role of Billy. By the following Christmas, Billy was 16 years old. He is shown here in a rare moment playing with his parents, Jill Foster and John Abbott

Happy Family: The Abbotts are far from the happy family. This photo is rare. From left to right Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane (Alex Donnelley), Ashley Abbott (Shari Shattuck), Jill Foster (Jess Walton), Billy (Scott) and John Abbott (Jerry Douglas).

Scotty was most resently seen in ""Life as a House". He co-starred with Kevin Kline and played Ryan Kimball. He was also seen in "The Green Mile" as Caleb Hammersmith. He co-starred with Julia Roberts in Erin Brockovich, he played Matthew Brown.

Lyndsy Fonseca
Colleen Celile Carlton
2001-present

Lyndsy took over the role of Colleen from Alanna Masterson in 2001. Y&R wanted a more mature actress in the role. Lyndsy was just 14 when she took over the role. Colleen is the daughter of Tracy and Brad Carlton.

Colleen moved in with her father, because she didn't care for her new step father Steve. When she got in trouble while living with her father, she moved back with her mother. She got in more trouble there and her parents were thinking about boarding school for her. Then her grandfather, John Abbott oftered to take her in and watch over her. She is currently living in Genoa City with her grandfather.

Colleen is currently involved with JT {Thad Luckinbill}. {photos courtesy soapcity.com}
