In August 1996, Nathan Hastings {Adam Lazarre-White} returned to Genoa City with his son, Nate, wanting to reconcile with Olivia {Tonya Lee Williams}. Nathan had kidnapped Nate earlier, after Olivia refused to let him see her son. However, Nate appealed to his father, expressing his wish for his mother and father to reunite. This prompted Nathan's return. |

Nate looked on as his mom, Olivia and Malcolm wed. Nate was thrilled by the idea of Malcolm marrying Olivia. Malcolm even managed to surprise Olivia when he made arrangements for Nate Jr. to join them on their honeymoon. Bryant joined the cast in February 1995. In 1998 and 1999, Bryant was nominated in the category of Outstanding Younger Lead Actor at the Daytime Emmy Awards. In 1998, he received a Young Artist Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor In a Daytime Drama Series. Bryant has appeared in national television commercials and has modeled for the Hilton Hotel franchise. In 1983, he was named little Mr. Oxnard in a local pageant. He enjoys playing basketball and watching videos with his two sisters -- his fraternal twin Bethany and their sister Kayla. Bryant was born in Camarillio, California on July 1.
